I was a Lighting artist in MPC on this space epic movie. I worked on this movie for over seven months. I was responsible for editing light rigs, matching cg doubles to plate, lighting cg creatures, fx and environment, look development, optimization, problem solving and worked on over 30 shots.

I am one of the texture/shading artists in this senior film – Reich. I was responsible for texturing and shading in two scenes of the film. Most of the textures were done with Mari and rendered in Arnold. Reich is one of the student films which is sponsored by SCAD to participate in different film festivals – The Student Oscars, Slamdance Film Festivals, Nashville Film Festivals, Ann Arbor Film Festivals, Sundance Film Festivals, Santa Barbara Film Festivals, Cinequest, RiverRun International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, South by Southwest.

Vows – Student Film

I am one of the texture/shading artists in this senior film – Vows. Vows is about a man named Carl, who is preparing for one of the biggest days of his life. He is incredibly excited, but is suddenly reminded of a deep sadness that plagues this joyful day with the person he loves most. Ultimately, the story revolves around love and the different kinds of vows we make in the name of it.

I was responsible for texturing and shading the first two scenes of the film. Most of the textures were done with Mari and rendered in Renderman. Vows is one of the student films which is sponsored by SCAD to participate in different film festivals – The Student Oscars, Slamdance Film Festivals, Nashville Film Festivals, Ann Arbor Film Festivals, Sundance Film Festivals, Santa Barbara Film Festivals, Cinequest, RiverRun International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, South by Southwest.

The short film received the Dean’s Award for Achievement in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Graduation Juried Showcase in 2017.

This is my senior thesis. It is an individual work. It is about recreating the environment of an opium den in China 200 years ago. It was one of the darkest period in recent Chinese history and it serves as an inspiration for this project. Part of the models are from CG trader. I was responsible for all aspect except effects. Smoking effects was done by Ryan Ng.

This is an integration shot. The photo was shot with a Canon 5D with integration kids: Chrome ball, grey ball, cubes. HDRI was also shot at the location with the use of chrome ball. The model was from CG trader. It was textured by me and rendered in Arnold. The integration was done in Nuke .
